Default 2006 G22 - Back seat - Need Advice

I have an opportunity to purchase a 2006 Yamaha G22 (electric) golf cart for ~$1,200. The person selling the cart says it is in good condition, runs good and has good batteries. The cart has the second seat and the utility bed to go on top of the seats when folded down. I am not in any rush to buy a cart, but would like to buy a good deal whenever possible...

I am still learning about carts and have been reading the boards all morning... The cart would be to get around the neighborhood with light off road and a lot of street driving. Any thoughts?

Also, running good means to the seller: "Meaning it is not a brand-new $6000 golf cart that will go 20 miles an hour. It is a used golf cart that runs and has good batteries I used it to get around my neighborhood and also at work but now I have something better so I am selling it cheap to get rid of it"

Thanks!

The G22 is a very good cart for street use. Has nice suspension design and rack & pinion steering. It can be upgraded to 19mph by the dealer for low cost, but that wont gain you any torque. Upgraded controller & cables will get you 24mph and improved torque. Im betting 13mph on the street is gonna get old for you pretty quick. The price seems very good, if the cart is in good shape. No other big pitfalls to lookout for on that model, its a very solid cart.
