98 Yamaha G16E
I have a 98 G16E. Someone else bought the cart stripped out and tried to get it working. Has new motor, solenoid, new batteries, Navitas 440 controller, etc.
I took the cart because he didn't want to mess with it and I am working to get it wired. I spoke with Navitas and got the wires (Yellow, Blue, White, Green, Pink) hooked up to the harness. I was told to take Y/B and put on small terminal of solenoid with R/W wire. In looking at the wiring diagram here is my issue... The key switch has R/Y and hooks into R wire of FNR microswitch then goes to + Battery. I was told the brown wire would NOT be used. With everything hooked up, cart on jack stands, key on and peddle depressed, the tire wants to spin, it moves slightly. The solenoid does NOT click. There is NO buzzer that came with this cart. Isn't there supposed to be another wire that goes to other small side of the solenoid terminal? The Navitas controller gives the 1-1 code and everything is charged but solenoid still not clicking. I need some help. PLEASE!!! |
