88 club car too old?
I am considering buying a 88 gas club car with the flathead. it seems to run
good but i am concerned about the age of the cart.. is it too old? what should i look for as far as potential problems? Thanks, Great forum by the way |

WELCOME TO BGW!!!
That depends upon what you expect from it? How will you use it? Do you want to put big tires on it? Rear seat? Use in the hills? 88 Is not too old but it was an 8.5hp motor when new... and now has some age on it |

Re: 88 club car too old?
Thanks for the welcome and replys. Yes i will be lifting it and adding a rear seat and 22" tires. They
are asking $1500 what do you think? cosmetically it is in fair condition but the engine seems strong. |

If the engine and everything seems fine then I would go for it and if your going to lift it I would put a power spring on for the clutch. What lift are you thinking about doing and tires?
