lack of power & quick discahrge
Yamaha G-19 48 volt fully charged 5 batt. read 8 volts each and 6th batt. reads 6 volts. runs slower than when new and barely gets 9 holes on full charge. Batteries are 5 1/2 years old. will I get more speed by just replacing Batteries.

The one battery has dropped a cell. You may be able to get along with just one used battery but, at 5.5 yrs old you have gotten the average use lifespan from them, maybe time for a new set.

Welcome to BGW!
I agree 100%. You can prove this by attaching a multimeter to the suspect battery and seeing just how far the voltage falls when you start from a dead stop or climb a grade. |
