Shorted wires/yamaha g19er
Okay so a friend asked me to install a light on their yamaha g19er cart. I was just about completely finished and i dropped the ground wire i was going to hook it up , it fell & hit the positive battery post & shorted. Now the cart wont move. Everything else works, headlights, heater/fan, cig lighter. But nothing happens when the pedal is pressed. Anyone have any suggestions as to what i may have shorted out to save a little time & frustration. All fuses are good, & i even replaced them all to be sure.

Re: Shorted wires/yamaha g19er
Sounds like you may have killed the controller.

Re: Shorted wires/yamaha g19er
hook everything up correctly, then reset tow-run switch and try again. if that doesnt work, you are probably looking at a new controller.
