Picked it up at auction for 75.00. Bought it from the guy who bought the lot it was in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Unit tests battery pack.
draws power to simulate driving w/o moving cart. Takes guesswork out of load test for batts. Great for shop-- not much use for single cart owner. |

Great tool !!!
Load batteries under realistic load. Test for voltage drop ect. Load batts and test to see how long they would run a cart. (I know not exactly the same as real life current draw -- but it is close enough) Useful tool !! Download instructions then READ THEM !!! Old electronics tech mantra RTFM (Read The Freakin Manual) |

Re: New toy. Anyone have experience with this
It should automatically detect 36v or 48v pack (used to automatically detect which amp setting to use 56a for 48v, 75a for 36v pack). Will discharge until a preset cutoff voltage is reached. It also keeps track of how long it takes. The industry standard says they should be able to carry the load for at least 60 minutes. Does not work well with a 42v pack (i determine the strongest battery at the end of the pack, and exclude it from the test @ 36v).

Ok, I finally found the manual on Lester's site. This is an awesome piece. I'm looking forward to giving it a thorough test. Don't have any packs in the shop at the moment.
