Electrical vs. electronic knowledge? Cobbling in a CB radio jack??

I'd listen to these folks.

Using that same source to provide current to anything that can cause that 48V line to fluctuate, CAN corrupt the controller. The proper place to connect any load is to the B+ (output) side of the solenoid. My aerospace engineering and 37 years of experience working with mission-critical systems leads me to err on the side of caution when it comes to integrated microprocessor based systems. Something as simple as disconnecing/reconnecting a battery pack lead without safing the controller HAS killed dozens of RXV controllers belonging to members here. An electrician would view that as similar to turning a power switch off and on that is feeding the controller. It is not the same to the controller. There are startup and shutdown sequences in the controller OS, and they are triggered by the timing sequence of power switching to specific leads of the controller.
So then just to make it so this dumb electrician can hook this up properly could you please identify where on one of these wiring diagrams I should place my connection.

I'm not saying electricians are dumb, far from it. When I started out as a broadcast engineer, I had to oversee all of the 3 phase electrical work at new transmitter sites. I worked with a lot of electricians in those early years, as we farmed out most of the cable pulling and split-phase work to them.

Those diagrams do not show that connection point. It is not a harness connection in the main harness or accessory harness. It is the main (large) post of the solenoid that is not connected to battery pack +. The solenoid is engaged by the controller once the key is turned on. If a POST fails, it can turn the solenoid off. Otherwise, it stays energized while the cart is operational or sitting idle. There is a timer in the controller that will power down the solenoid and cart if left idle for 30 minutes.
