Alltrax XCT-Admiral A4 Field Map
David, Scotty B. or any others that are familiar with or running the XCT500-IQ controller with the Admiral MOT-A4 motor. My XCT controller has Version 3 field map loaded and during some recent test runs using the Alltrax tool-kit, it informed me that an updated Version 4 field map was available. I contacted support at Alltrax and they suggested I upgrade to V4. My cart has operated very well with V3 and I just wanted to get confirmation from the group before I replace the map.

Haven't gotten the 4 yet but have one at the camp that I will on my next trip. Those Maps are intricate programming that is designed to get the most from your motor to include things like power, temperature relationship, speed or torque, etc. etc. The point being that they are similar to a BIOS update for your PC or a Firmware update for your electronic device and are usually to make it better or to work in more ways or with more capabilities.

And remember, if you load it and don't like it, you can always re-load the previous version.
