Default Turn signal nightmare

Hello I am new to this forum, however am pretty knowledgeable about carts. I am trying to wire a 7 wire turn signal kit to an existing plug in premium light kit. of course when I connect everything all my lights flash at the same time because they are all connected together. My question is Do I have to cut up all the wiring for these signal lights to work?

Your brake lights should have 2 filament bulbs in them (1157 type). The brake light wire should go to one filament and the turn signal wire to the other. After that there should be a ground wire to the frame or to your 12v source. If your filaments are joined together, every time you hit the turn signal, all your lights will have a path to power and light up. If you can't separate the electrical path, then you have to disable the old brake light wires and patch the brake switch into your turn signal system somehow. Time to get a meter and making some electrical checks.

essness has a good diagram, this should get you going the right direction!

I bought the light kit from 3r sales. It is a premium light kit with halogen front lamps and LED taillights. I realized the stock flasher would not blink my LED lights unless I connect them all together. So I ordereed a n electronic LED flasher from Groovy carts. Thanks for your support everyone.
