Random No Starting
Have a 1984 Ezgo, at times it will not start. It will turn over but will not start. I used starting fluid and shot it into the carb through the air cleaner and didn't do a thing. With starting fluid not helping I would assume its a spark issue. It does not have a rhym or reason to it not starting, the only thing maybe affecting it would be moisture after it rains but not for sure on that. Any idea's to what the issue could be to look in to?? Thanks Guys..

Re: Random No Starting
You got to check for spark when it's happening. Since it didn't start on starting fluid I'd agree it's an ignition issue.
Resistance across the pulsar should be 75-150 ohms. It produces around a half of volt A/C or so while cranking. If the pulsar checks good, I'd suggest doing the HEI and coil upgrade. |
