make sure it has dampers in it not shocks. The dampers only work on the upstroke and are much softer than shocks. Try less air pressure in the tires. I run 8 psi

Thanks! How will I know if dampers or shocks?

Hydraulic shocks are dampers. Not sure what he's referring to.

A nitrogen charged shock has a small air bladder inside that acts as a little bit of a spring, maybe that's what he's talking about. Gas charged shocks can be much more stiff.

But hydraulic shock absorbers work to dampen (slow) the movement of the suspension with both up and down motions. I've never heard of a shock that just dampens the down stroke.

Here's a really good video explaining

Well come to find out my 06 is actually a 99.
And now I’m having issues with the motor not wanting to turn over. It will spin all day but won’t rev up enough to engage the clutch I’m assuming. And when does finally kick into gear it acts like it’s only running half speed. Any ideas...?

Need some help from the experts. Motor is running funky. Changed out the carb. Changed spark plugs. Changed oil. Motor takes awhile to spool up. Then when running it acts as if it is bogged down. Will barely rev up when on the incline of my driveway. Drove it about 2 miles. Back fired every time I let off the gas pedal. When I parked it. Went and checked the air box after sitting 10 minutes and it was full of fuel.

You have a problem there. Do not drive that cart. Let me explain.

It sounds as if your carburetor float is stuck and is letting too much fuel into the engine. The excess fuel might be filling your air box, but it also could be filling the crankcase. If this is the case, you could be damaging your engine.

Do this: check the oil. If it's over the fill line, drain the oil and refill with fresh oil, making sure it's to the proper level. Take a look at the oil you drained out. Is it thick like the new oil? Or is it thinner? And does it smell like gasoline?

If you have gasoline in the oil, it's from excess fuel from the carb. That carb needs to be removed and cleaned thoroughly. The needle valve needs to be looked at, as well as the float, possibly replace both.

Oil seems to be ok. This is a new carb as well.
One thing I noticed is that it runs likes it choked and when I cap the two vacuum lines on the carb it seems to run better but then it starts backfiring.
Any ideas?

Check the compression before you add any more parts.
