Any recomendations on where to purchase the curtis handheld controller from?

Well you need the true handheld with the db9 connection to connect to your cart so I would look for a 1313k-4331 to get you OEM access.

I have found a bunch listed on ebay that all claim to be "1313-4331" OEM level access, but reviews are hit or miss on most of them and some seem to not work (based on reviews). I would hate to plop down $400-800 on something and then not have it work. Has anyone who recently purchased an OEM level controller have a site or link they recommend purchasing from? Here's one on eBay that is priced well ($425, free shipping). Pictures are the correct unit, but Ive never bought from this seller. You do get purchase protection with PayPal tho.

I personally bought mine from one of my local dealers a few years ago but it is a true Curtis. If you have a local dealer they might rent you one with a deposit.

Wire colors are at the diagnostic port, just need to run through the connector I linked above to a female D-sub:

White w/ Green Stripe - Pin 29 Can2 L to D-sub pin 2
White w/ Yellow Stripe - Pin 28 Can2 H to D-sub pin 7
Purple - Pin 25 +12V to D-Sub pin 9
Black - Ground to D-Sub pin 6
