36 v0lt hi speed series motor
Is there a Hi Speed motor available for a CC resistance cart? If so I would like make and model #

The same motor you have will "feel" faster with a controller instead of the resistor coils. The motor you have will go faster and have more torque with 48 volts instead of 36.
How old are your batteries? If your due for new ones keep your current motor and get new batteries, controller, and charger. all in the 48 volt variety. oh and new cables too. |

The trouble with upgrading the resistor coil carts ( no matter the year or make) is that higher performance motors, taller tires, etc. all cause a higher amperage draw. This draw usually overloads some component in the resistor drive system...which is a marginal design based upon the game of golf where 2 passenger ride 300 yards and stop for a while before going another 2-300 yds and stop again.
So when you get in one and drive drive drive - it's not getting a much needed chance to cool down. |

Were on flat ground in a home park. Longest single run would be about 3 miles. Can it live?

We GPSed the cart today. 13 MPH. If we invest in the "Bandit Motor" how much will we gain. Note: new batteries last month.
I figure $225 plus shipping will eat up the better part of $300 |
