What is in there? Space above steering column.
Anybody know what is in that space just above the steering column '05 Precedent? It looks like the perfect place to mount a voltmeter, but I can't find a way to get to it. You can't get in there from under the front end or by removing the instrument panel. But it seems to be a hollow space. What's up with that?

Its part of the dash insert removable after front cowl and front sub-body are removed

I saw the schematic, but couldn't tell much from that. Seems like a lot of work to get behind there. Wonder why they made it so hard.
Have any of y'all ever put anything there, like a gauge? |
