I originally wanted to just pay their core charge but PQ said they did not have any Excel motor cores to modify into a Bandit.

The 22mph was not fast enough for me so I modified my CC as shown in my signature line. Good Luck!

What was you stock speed on sm4? Still got the bandit?

My new built 2005 Precedent will do 21mph with just the magnet. I talked to PQ and they told me I could expect maybe 27mph with the Bandit. That is with a 6" Madjax lift and 23" tires.

The magnet will do nothing for the OP as he has an Excel cart....

My stock speed with SC4 was 19.7mph.
Still have the bandit. Have not decided what to do with it.
The Speed you get with any motor will depend on the diameter of the tires along with other variables.
The 19.7mph was with stock tires.

Call Plumquick as suggested, then you will have all the details necessary in order to make your decision. I have a Bandit. The torque and speed combo has been perfect for me!! Since PQ Bandit, I have upgraded controller (Curtis Controller rebuild -more amps) , ALL cables to 2 gauge (DIY), FNR Switch Cam (Scottyb Carts Unlimited), HD Solenoid, slightly larger rear tires and from 42 volts to 48 volts. Enjoy your faster ride!!
