That is a transformer that steps 110v ac to 12v dc. Just cut it off and wire to 12v on your cart.

Yes multiple colors in single strip. You do not need the transformer, but I am not sure if the kits without it include the wire that plugs into the control box. If it doesn't you would have to find a plug that fits, the round plug is pretty standard on a lot of devices or I guess you could open the control box and solder the wires.

See the cord that is plugged into the white box you cut close to the black box and wire it to your fuse box

if yall did not see but these light can change colors and it can fade 7 different colors fade 3 different colors jump 3 different colors and jump 7 different colors u can make them fade/jump fast or slow u have one button that can flash a white color but u can make it flash as fast or slow as u want . u also can make ur own color you can change how din or bright you want them to be but this is just for the lights under my cart the RGB lights

Make it sound so simple, except for those that are electrical wiring challenged..! Picture and/or wiring diagram is easier for me to follow. When comes to wiring I'm noobie and will be first to admit it.

Showed my girls your pictures of your carts led lights, now they hounding me to put some on ours. DOH...! Told them let me get it running right first, then we worry about the pretty things. Girls.... LOL
