Download a wiring diagram from the stickies. Basically, you'd wire a relay in parallel to the backup buzzer. From that, you have a switch that would turn on the strobe.

Since You are using a Reversing Contactor and a off market 500amp controller, You likely have no connection for a reverse buzzer, which is normally activated by the non-existing reverse micro switch in your setup.

The relay I posted a link to has 4 quick terminal connections on the back.

2 - 0.187" for the relay coil.
2 - 0.250" for the Normally Open contacts.
Connect one side of the relay coil to B-.
Connect the other side of the relay coil to the Reverse relay + connection
Use the Normally Open contacts to switch your 12v lights and buzzer ON/OFF.

You don't even need a fly-back diode as You probably have a 3amp one already in the reversing contactor and the additional 20ma relay coil break current will not be an issue.

I like JohnnieB idea about the "running strobe" lights.

You can add a SPDT switch to the circuit:
Connect the strobe lights to the 'common' or center position of the switch.
Connect one side of the switch to the 12v output of the relay.
Connect the other side of the switch to a direct (switched) +12v source.
That way You can either have the strobe always ON or only ON with the reverse. You can even use a "center OFF" switch for a stealth mode.

P.S. make sure You get a +12v backup buzzer if are going to use one with this setup.

Thanks Sergio! Just ordered the relay.
