Re: Craigslist STEAL!
Agreed, at this point you risk farther damage, get new batteries and start from there, being such a steal you should be able to get new batteries.

Re: Craigslist STEAL!
Sell that cart and make some quick money, batteries are very expensive.
No really you should buy batteries if they haven't been on a charger over a year and one busted, you are looking for a disaster, have you ever seen a battery explode? |

Re: Craigslist STEAL!
it's true. better not to risk it. wait for your next check, but some batteries. in the mean time, take it apart, clean it up. make sure all wires and connections are clean and secure. that way you've got a sweet runner when you can get new batteries.

Re: Craigslist STEAL!
Ok what do you think. 48v is 48v no matter how you get it correct. Currently their is 6-8v batts in her. I called a friend of mine and he told me he could get me 8-6v batts for 25 each (total of 200) Would this be better, I'm thinking it wouldn't cause all the batts to "work as hard" and I could build an area to fit the extra batt. Opinions?

Re: Craigslist STEAL!
as long as they are proper batteries for the cart, and they are new batteries for sure. more batteries = more weight, but also more capacity so you should get a little more range from 8 6 as opposed to 6 8v of the same ah rating. what battery can he get so cheaply?
