Default Throttle seems stuck

So I just installed my new Alltrax XCT 500 controller that was replaced under warranty. The old one failed (details)

The cart only goes about 1 MPH in forward and reverse. Looking in the Alltrax Toolkit monitor, the throttle appears to be stuck on 24-25%. 24% when I don't have my foot on it. 25% when floored.

Any ideas on what the issue is?

no error code on unit?

Post a pic of Controller settings - I don't know much about it but just got one myself and had a few flaws while instaling.

No error code. Not flashing anything. None of the flags are set in the monitor screen.

Odd that you don't get any flashing lights at all. No green or red in any combo when throttle engaged?

Looks like you've got a XCT that is made for a Club Car with an IQ drive installed in a EZGO TXT48.

The model number at the upper left of the Toolkit screen should say XCT48500-TXT-48 rather than XCT48500-IQ.

Possibly, but I'd call Alltrax and get the correct one, or at least get the firmware flashed to a XCT48500-TXT-48.

The reason it isn't moving is most likely because it is set to a CC 5k-0k resistive throttle rather than an EZGO ITS. That can be changed using the toolkit program.

Without the laptop connected, how many time does the LED flash green when the XCT powers up. (IIRC: It powers up when key is turned on)
It should be 4 green flashes for an ITS.

(When a laptop is connected, the XCT stays powered up when key is off.)

My original Alltrax controller that failed was the same IQ model on my TXT48. Sounds like I need to talk to ScottyB and Alltrax.

I get 5 green flashes when I switch the key on.

I changed the throttle type in the Toolkit from Club Car to EZGO ITS. Seems to have corrected the issue and the throttle goes from 0 to 100% in the monitor. I will do a street test when it quits raining.

Anything else I should check?

Thanks all!
