Great, informative response as usual.
I did not replace any bearings (guess I probably should). I had 10" wheels before and went to 12". I don't think I ever measured total diameter with the old wheels. Low profile tires on both, but I know there's lots of variance in the sizes. As far as the brakes go, I did take them apart and clean everything up. I think I may have had some very minor drag beforehand. Yes, the gps app I used before is the same one as now. I guess it's like you said, in that a bunch of relatively small improvements in my rebuild added up. As for the OP, is it odd that he is only getting 160 amps? Does that lead us back to a potential battery issue? I've yet to hook my altrax up to a computer, so I'm not familiar with what mine would show. Thanks again for your reply |
