Gas Gauge electrical issue G29
I replaced a toggle switch for my headlights with a lighted toggle switch. The lights and switch work fine after installation. Since replacing the switch my gas gauge will stay on after the key is shut off (indicator stays at 1/2 full tank). The only way I can get the gauge to shut off is to cycle my headlight switch on/off. I've removed the light switch to see if there was any interference but it did not solve the problem.
I'm completely stumped as to what could cause this to occur. Anyone have any clues? Should I replace the gas gauge? |

Re: Gas Gauge electrical issue G29
Double check the wires on the switch. I know you said it works, but if the power & load wires are flipped, it will work & can do weird stuff.
