Default Yamaha g2

I posted a while back about doing an engine swap on my gas G2. I put the 16hp duromax on it. The only issue I'm having is the gas tank. I want to use the original gas tank but the fuel pump pumps to much gas. I have seen a spacer that goes between the carb and the engine. The spacer had a drip valve for overflow fuel. Can anyone tell me the name of it this or send me a link please? I can't find the site I originally seen it on

Thanks for any help

just do what I did, put a tee in the fuel line to the carb, drill a hole and put a fitting in the fuel tank and run a hose from the tee to the tank this will let excessive pressure to return to the tank.

Thanks wicked, just want to make sure I understand. The line from the tank to the carb I will cut and put a "T" connector. One line will continue to the carb and the second line will go back into a hole that I drill into the tank? I guess that is just supposed to alleviate to much fuel going to the carb? Is there a certain place in the tank to drill the hole?

On top, or high. The foot head of the return line will cause the float to fill up and when the float closes the fuel will go up the return line

Its common for that to happen if you tap the pulse to the intake. I did one had to put the return line on it then it was fine. Those carbs are made for gravity flow and no pressure. The second cart I put the pulse into the rocker cover and did not need a return line it works fine. Though now I put a 32mm CV carb on it which probably could care less, the stock clone carb can handle NO pressure it will overflow out the spacer usually which has a passage inside it.

Make sure you secure the return line I know a guy it fell off and puked fuel all over, not good.
