TXT with headlight question. (they work fine)
Hello, obviously new here. Just bought a used TXT - or at least that is what it appears to be after reading on here how to identify. I will get serial number tonight and verify. Anyway, it has front lights. They appear to be factory or at least an aftermarket kit designed for this model. I noticed the lights were dim. Upon further investigation, I learned that about half of the light bar is covered by the body so only the bottom half of the lights shine forward. The brackets only mount in one place so I'm not sure what is going on here. Has anyone seen this before?
I will be reading everything I can get my hands on to learn about these, but this particular topic seems to be odd. (BTW according to a sticky, I have a Sepex - whatever that means) Thanks in advance for any help. It is greatly appreciated. |

Those light bars leave a lot to be desired.. Ezgo's claim is they are for you to be seen not see... Jumping to a 50 watt or bigger led will help but stay away from halogen. They will melt the plastic. Also, spend a little extra on the leds because if I remember right those bulbs are kind of a pain to get to,,

I believe all those bulbs are halogen. And a 3/8 rachet wrench makes that removal Soo much easier.

I believe they are 894 37w halogens. 1/4 turn and they are out but wedged against the front valence.

Re: TXT with headlight question. (they work fine)
it looks to me like the light bar is actually pushed back, causing it to shine more up the straight out. FYI they make that exact light bar in LED version. They also make an aftermarket 14" Light bar that is really nice, and brighter.
