Club Kart
I just traded for this rig.. interesting to say the least. The previous owner said it was built by prestige golf cars in California. I found a tag on the motor that says kawasaki 1998. The engine, frame and clutch all say club car. I have a few questions about the clutch/drive belt setup.
It currently has a regular drive belt, but it also came with a smaller automotive type of belt and idler, which is supposed to make it run 50mph. The current belt is wore (stretched) and tries to ride back up in the sheaves. I will get a pic of the other setup once I install it. WTF did I get myself into? |

Re: Club Kart
That’s an interesting one for sure. I wonder what axle setup that is?

Re: Club Kart
That's an early EZ Go Marathon rear turned around backwards.
The rest is either an engineering triumph or nightmare. |

Re: Club Kart
Is there a heavy duty drive belt that will replace this one?
