Rear View Mirror
Well I went a bought a 5 panel rear view mirror for our family golf cart and installed it today. I will also be returning said mirror today as well. This mirror and the way it attaches makes them unusable. It bounces around so much that you can’t see anything. It almost makes you sick to look at it. So does anyone have any recommendations for a good STABLE rear view mirror for our 2002 Ezgo Txt?

Re: Rear View Mirror
It might be that mirror. I've got the same one on my 2002 ezgo txt and also my 2014 Club Car Precedent with no problems at all. Did use use the rubber mounts with it

Re: Rear View Mirror
TXT's are notorious for wobbly tops. Might be the issue for you. I use large side view mirrors and no rear view. But I am used to my huge F250 side mirrors.

Re: Rear View Mirror
This kit did not come with any rubber hardware. It was the whole top shaking that caused the mirror to be unusable. Probably will have to go to side mirrors. Rooster which do you use?

Re: Rear View Mirror
I picked up a pair from Amazon. They were all about the same and about $20. I figured not too much to lose and they worked pretty well.
I bought a friend a pair for his marathon. His are even better because his cart has a pseudo roll bar instead of oem struts and top. Mine do vibrate now due to the engine swap to a VC625 but they are still usable. I don't try to read license plates, just keep an eye on traffic behind me. Or backing up into the garage, hooking up a trailer, etc. |

Re: Rear View Mirror
I got dizzy driving a friend's multi-mirror buggy. It almost seems like they intentionally set each one for a different focal length.
Here's what I got and love: |

Re: Rear View Mirror
We do lots of builds on TXT's, and put those 5 panel mirrors on all of them. I don't like the brackets that come with them at all so I make my own. "L" brackets with the long side horizontal bolted to the frame with the roof mounting bolts (same one's that hold the top to the windshield frame). Much more stable, but still have to have the roof hardware tight.

Re: Rear View Mirror
Yeah maybe with better hardware the mirror could work. I’m thinking about ordering the side mirrors that mount to the roof strut and being done with it. Anyone have any experience with those?
