Hello, I hope this thread is still alive. I am doing the same thing. 2000 Series TXT and wanting to convert to SEPEX high speed. Goal is same torque but >25 MPH. Street driving. Occasional wooded trail. 2 people. Still needs to maintain the ability to drive on a golf course. I will get one of the high speed motors, D&D, Admiral, FSIP, etc. I will get the Alltrax XCT400 or 500. 2GA etc. 48V. HD solenoid. Probably 20" tires. 5" Lift Kit. My question is wiring harness and F/R swith. Can I get a wiring harness to convert to Sepex? If so any locations and P/N#'s. Do I need to switch out the pedal box? Random Other Electrical? Thanks!

Well it is an old build but did something similar a few years back. Turned out pretty good. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...east-boke.html

just a suggestion....you certainly won't need a 5" lift. considering you can run 20" tires with NO LIFT with no problem.

Thank you Sir Nuke and kgsc. I will look at that past build. Given that it is a Curtis controller I am hopping i can find the infor I am looking for. I am getting the parts manual for the 2000 txt PDS. Basically I want to understand what the pin out is on the Alltrax. The only "sensor or switch" i have currently is the one from the pedal box. I don't konw if it has the right connector to mate with the wiring harness or the alltrax. I will need a key switch, f/r reverse switch, run tow switch, speed sensor? and the wire harness to connect all of that to the alltrax.

The cart already came with a 5" lift. I plan on keeping it on in case I decide to go bigger in tires for more speed. I am a little worried about the torque loss with bigger tires.
