Default 2014 RXV needs turn signals and brake lights

This is my first post. I recently purchased my first cart, a 2014 48V RXV. It has headlights and tail lights but according to EZ-GO by referencing the serial number, they did not come on the cart new. I bought a turn signal kit but my harness is not RHOX plug and play. I tried to manually run the wires according to the schematic but without luck. I contacted the seller where I bought the signal and he says I need a different pig tail to plug into the factory harness 8 pin connector. I don't see an 8 pin connector. I have spent hours on this cart and the more I work on it the more I wonder if I'm going in the right direction. Now I'm wondering if I need a voltage reducer or converter, or if I should buy a new deluxe light kit or maybe a new RHOX wiring harness and keep the old lights. Or am I over thinking this? Any help would be very appreciated.

Yes your going to need a dc-dc converter to run your lights and turn signals. If you have 4 - 12v batteries don't hook into one battery to run this. That battery will bring the rest of the pack down.

The cart has headlights and tail lights already. Does that mean it has a converter somewhere?

Look under the driver's seat a box with fins.

As per usgicollector: The dc-dc and factory wiring looks like the first pic. The second pic is after a lithium pack install and not one factory wire cut or terminal replaced when everything turned around and reinstalled at opposite end, go figure.

And to add turn signals to the cart, this is a RHOX kit. Plug & Play.

No converter on the cart that I can see.
Below are some pictures of the lights on the cart that did not come from the factory

So I’m thinking that I probably should just buy the whole street legal kit and upgrade to LEDs. If I go with LEDs do I need a converter? Also, how do I know if the new headlights will cover the existing cutouts in the body?

Cover the existing holes? Best of luck. Once one "brand" of holes is cut, you have little chance a different set will require a hole that can cover/line up with existing holes. That's the catch, once the holes are cut, good luck using any other lights. Hey, if you are insanely lucky, the existing holes don't overlap the templates marked on the inside of the nose. I doubt it, because that kit isnt in any way similar to the OEM lights. Many aftermarket kits emulate the OEM headlights, but yours dont.

How do I find out what brand mine are? There are no markings on them.
Maybe RHOX? http://www.jasonsgolfcarts.com/E_Z_G...p/lgt-609l.htm
