Charging Issue.
2004 EzGo TXT 36V
Diagnosis help please... I noticed a battery wire was getting really hot and cart did not charge well. I found a loose wire, cleaned all connections, tightened back down and was good to go. The cart charged fine and the charger did its thing and shut off. My son than drove it for an hour and put it back on the charger, but it doesn't seem to really be charging the cart. The Volts meter on the charger doesn't seen to go down like usual. I checked the connections and all was fine, but I did notice the handle on the charger that I plugin to the cart was rather warm. Does that need to be cleaned as well well as the receptacles you plug in at the cart. Ideas or thought where to start would be much appreciated. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk |

Re: Charging Issue.
Reed switch could be your issue.

Re: Charging Issue.
Do you have volt meter to check charger out put?
Another charger you can borrow to try? Fact that wires/connections are hot indicate bad connection. With hand held volt meter you can measure baterry voltage before charge and during charge to tell if it’ s working. |
