2014 vs 2015 Advice needed
Hello from sunny Jacksonville, FL. I am moving into buying a CC Precedent and have a 2014 (used at a warehouse and never on a course) and a 2015, that was off lease and on its second post lease owner. Full details below
2014 for $4,200 2017 batteries Trojans (875s), that are said to discharge in 1.25 hours. Standard roof LED light head/tail light (no signals) HD leaf spring GTW rear seat 12” wheels Speed code 4 2015 for $3,500 2015 batteries Extended roof Full LED light kit with signals HD leaf springs MADJAX Genesis 250 rear seat 10” wheels Speed code 4 Need the advice of you experienced ladies and gents to decide what is the better way to go. Lower hours, “good” batteries or off lease with room to buy new batteries and be at the same cost as the 14. Thanks in advance. |

The latter all day. Think of it this way, you are always going to be changing batteries every few years regardless. I personally wouldn't decide on batteries alone, I would look at the condition and options of the cart in question, which in your case and price, the cheaper is the better option, in my opinion...

Other than 10" wheels, the '15 is a better deal. The batteries appear to be shot in the '14 also, but its moot since they both need a set.
AND, the '15 came off and lease and that generally relates to a detailed maintenance program. |

Also look at the chargers. Are they both ERIC? The 2015 would be but the 2014 might be or not depending on when in 2014. If the 2014 has a PowerDrive charger and an OBC then there is no question, the 2015 one any day.
Even if the 2014 one is also an ERIC charger I would still prefer the 2015 one. Don't worry about the batteries, they'll both need replacing soon anyway. |

Yeah, getting the 15 a set of 12s in the near future. Will likely keep my eyes peeled for deals online or lightly used set.

Got eyes on the cart tonight, indeed a 2015. But the batteries are Feb 2018 Trojan 875s vice the 2015s originally I was told. Having it picked up and serviced then delivered next week :) Look foreword to a new time consumer and learning from yall!
