Re: Load test 6 volt
Get a DVM with a Min/Max feature and some clip leads.
Connect the DVM leads to the plus and minus terminals of one of the batteries and drive up a hill. Note the min and max readings. Move DVM leads to next battery and drive up same hill. Note readings. Repeat process until you have min and max readings for all of the batteries. |

Re: Load test 6 volt
That's way too hard, cant there be a "Alexa/Siri, are my batteries screwed" answer? Not at all trolling Pepper64, just that the actual "data collection process" seems to be too hard these days.
Your cart is the best "battery tester" for 2 reasons. 1- you already own it. 2- it is the actual thing you want to work/power, not an arbitrary test. Get your volt meter out, it's that time... |

Re: Load test 6 volt
Agree replace the entire set with new batteries or you’ll be haveing the same problems doing the same test next year.
Mixing new and used batteries is never a good idea. Plenty of post on here about doing this. Essentially the worse battery is what battery charger monitors and Taylor’s charges too neglecting to give newer batteries their full charge.😊 |
