Default 2009 ezgo txt stalling

We have a 2009 txt with brand new batteries. When going at slow speeds for a while it intermittently loses power. If we cut it off for a minute it will start right up again full speed. Any idea what can be causing this? What do we need to replace?

Quick note- it will work in reverse even when it stops going forward. Turn it off- turn key off then back on- put back in forward and it works again.

Put the controller into diagnostic mode and listen for the beeped error code when it misbehaves. Text at bottom of attache PDS label tells you how.

Sepex drive don't like to creep around slowly. The motor is able to draw a lot of amps at low speeds which in turn gets the motor and controller hot.

Running in R when F fails isn't a good sign. The controller may be failing.

If so, replace it with an Alltrax XCT48400-PDS controller, which is user programmable.
