Wiring Curtis Controller 2014+ CP
I'm rebuilding a cart 2014+ CP with ERIC charger and attached a photo of the Curtis Controller I bought to replace the defective one
When I bought the cart the controller was all ready pulled Looking at the controller, I have everything wired but the 1/2" main wires I just want to make sure I connected them correctly before hooking them upto the battery pack Here's How I have them wired see pics: B- Black to charge port plug, NEG on battery, and accessory NEG on Battery M- White wire to Motor B+ Green/ Yellow wires which goes to Motor/ Solenoid Also note the Orange and Blue wire plugs into the top of the controller looking at a wiring diagram I believe these are correct also , if not please let me know Thanks again for your professional help ! |

Re: Wiring Curtis Controller 2014+ CP
It looks correct to me according to this wiring diagram
https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/show...p?t=924&page=3 However, I can only see a small section of the diode on the large solenoid post. Be sure it's facing the correct direction. My only suggestion is to not bundle the blue and orange motor wires with the larger white and green cables. The manual states to enclose the orange and blue wires together in a wire loom and the white and green together in a loom. Then you can use a zip tie to hold the two looms together. You did a good job! Hope this helps you. BTW, I want the Yorkie sitting in the cart. too cute!! |

Thanks I'll do this now " The manual states to enclose the orange and blue wires together in a wire loom and the white and green together in a loom. Then you can use a zip tie to hold the two looms together. "
Also the diode bend is facing the front of the cart They do love their golf cart rides! Thanks again I'll finish it up today I appreciate your help ! |

Re: Wiring Curtis Controller 2014+ CP
Thanks for sharing the great photos!! I've always had a Yorkie. My last one died 2 years ago at age 13. She loved to ride with me in the cart but what she loved most was riding with me on the ATV. She would stand in my lap with her front paws on the steering wheel. When I turned the wheel she just walked her paws along with it. It was too funny.
Have a great day! |
