Ezgo Navitas OTF Programer

I Bought a Navitas Controller and On the Fly Programer. I’m trying to use the OTF Programer to change the controller to a Series Cart according to the instructions but it won’t get past configuration mode. Any advice? Thanks!

Ok, if you have a newer controller with bluetooth, you may not be able to do it with the OTF. Navitas advised me that throttle calibration can no longer be done with the OTF on the newer versions of the controller. That may also be true for series setup.

What model controller do you have? Do you know if it has bluetooth? If it does, it is very easy and I can help you.

You just have to download the profile for the series motor and update the controller.

It’s a 440 amp controller TSX 3.0 and it does have the Bluetooth.

Ok, forget the OTF. Go into the bluetooth app and there is an option in there to download the profile for a particular motor. Simply choose the generic series motor, download, and save to controller.

Click the three lines in the upper left of the app. Choose controller firmware and select the series motor firmware near the top of the list and download. You may have to restart the controller after the download. Depending on the cart, you may have to actually remove the little red wire from the harness adapter from the battery post to do that.

There should be a 4th option at the bottom called Firmware Download.

You likely have the limited user version of the app and you need the dealer or advanced version. Navitas will give you this, but I will have to research how. I have seen it posted here, but I don't recall how.

I simply emailed Navitas and asked for the advanced version and they immediately set it up.
All I had to do was reopen the app and it was done.

I called them. If you have set up an account for the basic app they will release the additional functions right there and then
