Default FE350 tune up kit

Hi!

The former owners of my Carryall 2 neglected the maintenance of the cart. For this reason, i wanted to change oil-, gas-, air filter and the spark plug.

I found a tune up kit:
https://www.zoomparts.de/Club-Car/Fi...p-Set-138.html
and
https://www.zoomparts.de/Club-Car/Ac...---CC-DS-.html

Both are for the FE290, can i use them in my FE350?

What is the difference between those kits, i.e. what is a CC-DS?

I know what you want to say:

Ask the seller.
I did, i wrote him a email, one week ago.
But he did not answer me.

Does anyone here know a reliable shop for spare parts and/or accessories here in Germany or at least in the EU?

Thanks again and greetings from Bavaria,

Markus

Hey Markus!

I didn't really see a difference between the two kits that your looking at,
but YES... the FE 290's and the FE 350's use the same filters, and spark plugs for both engines from 1992 to about 2008.

Club Car Models:

DS - your standard golf course two person cart with bag holders for golfing. (built from 1984 to about 2010)

Carryall - Maintenance vehicle for golf courses, it's design is based on the DS, but heavier duty for work on the course.
There are quite a few Carryall models... I, II, II Plus, etc.

About 2004, Club Car came out with some newer models to eventually phase out the DS, which they did about 2010,
and those are... Precedent's and XRT's, and they are quite a bit different from the original DS platform.

Back to the subject...
Either of those tune up kits will work for your Carryall II since it's designed from the DS platform.
A bit of detail on the spark plug though...
NGK BPR5ES are the preferred spark plug for Kawasaki FE engines, cross-referencing to a different brand isn't advisable.

As for a shop... I would contact BGW member "Cartmaster" via Private Message,
He's in the UK and may be able to help you find a place closer to you for miscellaneous parts.

Final note: your first few posts were apologizing for your translation to English,
I just wanted to let you know that your doing a great job!

I hope this helps!

Hi Lockman,

thank you for the praise, but i have to admit, i write my posts and then run them by a spellchecker to catch the worst mistakes.

And again, thank you for your help.
That said, now i'm completely lost. Basically both kits are identically. I don't get why one costs 7 Euros (plus 19% sales Tax) more.

Seems to me the seller does not know what he is offering or, he is withholding information on the product.
In both cases, it's a bad shop. :thumb down:

Golf Carts for private use are a very new thing here, so the choice (and quality!) of shops is dismal.

Greetings from Germany,

Markus
