HIDS work great....got 35w 8000k...just did bulb conversion on one of thr HID website... have run HIDS straight for two hours and no abnormal heat as compared to halogen lights. No voltage issues... can run lights even when cart will barely move from needing a charge...and no flickers. LOVE THE HIDS wouldnt change for anything.

this is one of the first things i plan on doing to mine. do some people use universal for light housings or what do they mount the bulbs in.. my melex doesnt have headlight provisions.
