Anyone know if the '1200' will tell me which motor? If not I will try to get the Seller to look for the ID plate on the motor.
Thanks

I wish I could help. I just found out yesterday that my "1200" had a 295 rather than the 350 I thought the 1200 came with the 350 standard but now I question that??
Either way, that 295 was a strong motor as stated earlier in this thread. Never had any torque issues with it and it still ran 20-22mph on the high end.

What year is it? I think they all had the 11hp after about 98 or 99. THe motor model # is cast in the block above the carb and to the passenger side....
EH29 or EH35

my 2000 workhorse 1200 came with a 350cc (11 hp) and it ran strong and 22mph with the gov disconnected

Now, it has a 720cc (25 hp) and it climbs trees

Too many carts / too many motors / I guess you are right then a 2001 would have come with the 11 hp in it.

Thanks guys, Would $2300 be a decent price for one of these? It has no modifications, just green with dump bed. He says it runs great and from the pis I have it looks OK.

Doesnt sound un-reasonable for my area, although a little on the high side. I bought mine when it was 10 years old for $1600.00. But I bought 3 of them at the same time.
