Default different Issue on the workhorse

my sons workhorse decided not to run yesterday.
You could hear the click of the accelerator pedal micro-switch, plus the click of the starter solenoid, had 12 volts going to starter with ground on the battery.
However, when I put the test probe on the ground wire to the motor no 12 volts. so we lost the ground connection going to the motor.
continuity from negative battery to frame. no continuity from negative terminal to negative stud on starter.

so need to clean up negative going to frame. no problem. Also ran a seperate ground wire from battery to starter.
voila! Starter works and the cart starts better as it now has good ground.

checking ground is not in the EZ-Go manual trouble shooting guide for starting so I thought that I would post it.
