Default Diff studs

Do the axles have to be pulled to change the axle studs on a yama g2/g9 gass diff? Might be a stupid question but i havent really had a chance to look.

Yes they can, just tight fit betwen the axle flange and brake shoes/spring set up. If your going to install longer studs..pull the axle, it's only 4 bolts.
