Default RXV Top Speed

Is it possible to program the standard RXV to go 25 mph?

The dealer would only go to 19.5 mph on my '09. Not sure if that's all the programmer will do, or if that's all the dealer will do. You can adjust top speed and acceleration. Definitely the fastest stock cart I have ever been on!

Was wondering the same thing.. Not sure but I think the motor and controller are the same.. Only bad thing about this in the RXV is the brakes... Not sure how it handle 25 mph

Mine has a top speed of 29 mph with 23" tires. I know a lot of shops will not turn RXV's all the way to top speed due to liability issues. My local shop is a small southern shop so they did it as part of the deal when I purchased. Have heard most people do not have the same luck.

With high speed gears and 205/65/10 tires set to 19.5 mph will run 42 mph

Mine is a handful at times at 29mph. How is it at 42? Is that stock height or lifted?

29 is VERY good for an electric cart. 42? WOW! Mine would go 22 with 22" tires and being reprogrammed. Still ok but I felt it had way more in it.

Your only option is larger wheels and tires. I put 14 inch wheels with low profile street tires and no lift and I get 23mph. Jerj I still think yours has got the 19.5 mph setting but the larger wheels and tires make the speed that much higher. I have a friend that actually has a programmer because he buys and sells carts and the highest speed setting he can get is the 19.5 EZGO does that for liability reasons. I also think they do is because basically the RXV is the same cart as the 2five minus a few features. Why would you pay for a 2five if you can get an RXV to the same speeds?

We all need to buddy up with a computer programmer who can rewrite their system!
