Unhappy Rear wheels are locked after 12 months sitting

What do I do to get my rear wheels turning? The EZGo sat for 12 months, it had just quit running, and I left it at our vacation house. I put new tires on it, and want to haul it home to work on it, but thye back tires are locked up.
I sprayed some Blaster under the brake area. And on the rear axle area by the inside of the rear tires.
Now what?
Thank you!

I think you are barking up the right tree (brakes). If you have the tools you need, jack up the rear end, remove rear wheels/tires, and tap the brake drums with a hammer. The only other thing I am concerned about is when it "quit running". If the motor seized (motor bearing) up you may have to pull it out to get it to move.

I did not know that was an option. How do you release the park brake?
After it quit running, I was able to push it around to move it. I believe It had a wire break : bumpy dirt road.

If has been parked with the parking brake set for a year the pads are probably froze to the shoes. Typically you can just tap the gas or the brake pedal to release the parking brake. If you were able to push it after it quit running then it is probably not a seized motor.

I don't even see a parking brake. !? Have you a photo, or a description?
I will try to jack it up and hit it with a hammer. That usually works with just about anything

It is the top portion of the regular brake pedal.
When you push on the top part, it holds the brake pedal down, locking the brakes.
To release it, push on the lower part of brake pedal and it should release, letting pedal to raise to off position.
Also, pressing throttle pedal should release it.

However, that only releases the pedal, the brake cables could still be stuck in the on position or the brake shoes stuck to the drums

Were the batteries maintained over the year it was stored?

What is the battery pack voltage?
Does the solenoid Click?

What type cart is it?

I'll try that.
The batteries have NOT been maintained at all. There is a little gadget on the 'dash' that has been blinking red, all this time.
I have looked & tried to figure out which model it is, but I do not see anything, except EZ GO on the side. Where is the model name located?

I sure appreciate these replies!

Okay, I did the brake/gas pedal thing, the brake pedal did jump back up. But it still does not roll. I am trying to push it myself - I am not the strongest short woman in the world, tho!
It is an EZGO Textron 26281-GO1. Serial number indicates it is a 1990 electric MARATHON.
The flashing light is a Curtis 900G Battery Gage -- and it is flashing between "R" and "E" - reserve and empty.
Batteries must be dead for sure. When I turn the key to "on" there is nothing.

Now that the parking brake is disengaged, you can try jacking up one wheel and turning it by hand. If you can brake one side loose, go to the other side.

One step at a time.
