60's Marketeer motor question
I have very little knowledge about golf karts. I've been reading and trying to learn. One of my biggest issues is that the parts I have are off of a 60's marketeer 436 and they don't match most of the info on the web.
I disassembled the rear end recently and can't figure how you change the motor. I've attached a pic of the assembly. The motor has been taken apart because it didn't run. It appears that there is at least one pressed on bearing. Does the entire motor and gear assembly have to be changed? Is there not a splined shaft to connect to the motor? Thanks for any info you can give. Liljack |

Re: 60's Marketeer motor question
I had a feeling this would be the case. Well if no one knows how to change this thing, how about this.
Anyone got a lead on a 5 lug 4.5 bolt pattern drive axle? What makes years have them? Have one for sell? Thanks for any help you can give. |
