Default Got some new goodies from ScottyB, I am super confused

Ok, got an Alltrax NPX 400a controller, solenoid, HD F/R, and I also got some 4ga wires. So I am ready to go.

The confusing thing is this;

All 3 directions from ScottyB, Alltrax, and the cable people are all different with regards to what wires go where. I must be taking crazy pills. I need clarification. This is nuts.

One set of directions say that a wire goes from A1 on the motor to M-, the other set says it goes to A2, etc. they all are different. That's not the only one, the wires are all over the map on all directions.

Any clarification???

Did you PM Scotty , he usually responds back fairly quickly , he will guide
You through it all , although it is strange that three diagrams give conflicting info.
Cheers!

I'm curious as to why scott has his buisness name plastered all over Alltrax's material. Nice hack edit job

There's needs to be some step by step instructions using actual images. These instructions are crazy. Each one of them.

I got the first call at 5-5:30 about mounting the controller.

I see you called again at 6:30 pm

The Alltrax control comes with a mini manual (pictured) it shows where the main connections go.
The modified document shows my cable #s and shows a redrawn clarified F&R view which you may need if you fail to mark your cables when installing the new F&R.
You will find some variances in these diagrams because there is more than one way to wire these carts. Motor A2 and motor A1 can be swapped. Motor S1 and S2 can be swapped also.
Basically the new NPX400 wires up the same way your old cart did except you do not have the controller A2 terminal anymore. Your OEM control has 4 big terminals and the Alltrax has 3. Just take the A2 cable off and toss it. Install the 3 big cables on the same terminals they were on on the old control. It's pretty straight forward.
Here is the diagram of your cart for you to compare.

The controller connects with 3 big cables and multi-plug. The terminals are marked as shown on both the old and new control. Call during store hours if you need assistance.
I hope this helps

Stankfoot had originally said nice hack edit job douche. Or something of that nature. He edited his post.

ScottyB has been great. I'm just confused on the 3 directions, that's all.

Thanks for clarifying ScottyB. I just didn't wanna burn anything up ;)
