XT500 refurbish and Thanks
I purchased a 1997 XT500 that I am refurbishing and will be donating to our local Raptor Center. Wanted to say thank you to Scottyb from Carts Unlimited for giving me a discount on a full set of cables and throwing in a set of Battery hold downs.
Plans for this weekend are remove all the old wiring, rerun wires, install 36-12 volt reducer, relay for reducer; fuse box, ground block, install on board charger. Still to come will be replace bed box floor, probably cut out old rusty floor and weld in some reinforcements and use Trek decking boards. This is my first Golf Cart and Thanks for all the great information found on buggiesgonewild. There's so much on here that I have had not had to ask a single question, found all my answers just by searching. Found it so helpful I went ahead and made a $20.00 donation. Thanks everyone. |
