need suggestion on tires for 06 precedent
I have a 2006 Precedent. Bought new tires a few years and they are quite worn because we've been driving the cart primarily on roads.
Instead of buying the "standard" golf cart tire, is there a better quality tire I can purchase which would last longer considering the surface. Please let me know. Thanks. |

I really don't think you'll find any other tires that will get more miles.

. . . there are good DOT approved 4 ply golf cart tires that are probably more durable than the typical golf cart turf tire . . .

I seem to recall that there were 8" and 10" tires that were Highway Rated - which were actually meant for motorcycle trailers etc. Of course highway rating clearly means that they can be run at speed (est. 60mph) but they may also be a harder rubber compound which might wear better - that's just a guess though. Just for interest sake you should ask a tire dealer if he has "highway or High Speed rated tires" in the size you need.

DOT tires and a good front end alignment. The alignment may be more important than the tires.
