here are the components on my cart
Ok guys an gals im trying to find out a little more aboutmy cart so i wrote down part numbers of the important items
Curtis speed controller p/n 25864g09 Solenoid said 36v dc not sure if 0808 was the part number Club car adapted motor p/n 1012191 Model number 5BC48JB764 Date code SHN AND can anybody tell me if this sounds like a model.number on my ezgo txt c1605 |

I basicly need to know what voltage my system is im guessing a 36 volt but the club car motor is throwing me off

Should be an '05 model ezgo. Is the forward reverse switch on the dash? If so then it's a PDS. Under your legs and it's a series.

Your speed controller is a stock 36v only.
Your club car motor is a series type 36v also. It can happily accept 48v though. |

Thanks yall! The f/r is under the seat. So im supposing its a series. So more than likely this cart was a 36v setup and should buy bats as such? My next step is to find a 12v bat and hook it up block it up and see if stuff moves lol

Don't hook up a single 12v battery to check things. Bad idea.. Pictures always help with figuring things out. Does the forward reverse switch have heavy gauge wiring going to it?
