6hp amd motor on resistor style cart
i'm trying to find out if i HAVE TO go to a controller, etc. if I install my new AMD 6hp 36v electric motor on my 83 ezgo marathon resistor cart or if it will work with existing wiring...
I used 2 gauge cables throughout |

I see no reason it won't work, increased amp draw might heat the coils up a bit more than normal, but running full throttle cures that right up.
