G1 starter gen fan
Hello everyone, does the fan on the starter gen,on a g1 really make a diff on cooling the starter gen ? Thanks

I don't know how much cooling it really does, but I'm running without one and since replacements are hard to find I figure there are many that are doing the same.

Running without the fan on my G1 never caused any problems. If your doing a lot of starting and stopping it would probably be a good idea to have the fan installed.

They have been discontinued for quite sometime now and none of the new starters don't have the fan so I would think it is ok to run without one.
