forward reverse lever
the previous owner of my cart a 94 Par Car put an EZGO forward reverse switch on it now when I want to go forward I push it all the way in the forward start down the road then I have to back the lever off a bit to get it to go full speed then at slow speed it buck jumps and tries to die. It does not do this in reverse. is there something wrong with the switch or is hooked up correctly and there is another problem. Do you think the two issues are related or separate.

Took it off cleaned it verified that this part has no apparent part in the action of the cart. Part shows almost no wear just the normal from daily use for the last few months
