Default New 350 11HP Fuji-Robin Engine, Part# 72846G02S

Am considering buying a new 350 cc 11HP Fuji-Robin Engine, Part# 72846G02S with retrofit kit Item # 610654 .

Currently have a 295 cc engine on a yr 2000 txt cart. I know I can put a bigger "V" engine on if I lift or a big block if I don't, but for reasons of stability and noise these options are off the table.

The cost of the new engine is US$2,500 with the retrofit kit and so I just want to know if anyone has experience of getting this replacement engine and if there is anything else I need. Presumably I need a new carb as well?

My existing engine has been reconditioned twice in last 3 years and is still noisy as hell and I am sure the perfomance is impaired - I'm on an island and limited to two golf cart garages which may not be great at engine recondiitioning and so I figure getting a new engine shipped may be best in the long run.

Any comments or experience sharing gratefully received.

Definitely recommend AGAINST using these guys. Back in July, I was initially told it would take just a few days to get my modded 13HP engine ready. After over a month of patient and polite chasing, Motors and More became non responsive and every time I called I was told I would get an email later that day telling me the status. In the end I gave up and just had my existing engine reconditioned locally, as I urgently needed the cart back in use and didn't have time to seek another solution.

Any info on the 350 11HP Fuji-Robin Engine, Part# 72846G02S would be gratefully received.

I really hate to hear that. My dealings have been just the opposite.

Maybe I caught them at a bad time. Was never able to sample their product.

If you buy the retro fit kit it should have everything included that you would need to install the engine. Including a new muffler and new igniter.

Another option is to contact Carrie at CT Rebuilds - For $725 they will take your 295 pre-MCI engine and send You back a 13hp "375" motor completely rebuilt and ready to drop back in with no conversion, etc necessary. I have used them dozens of times over the last few years in my own carts as well as customers and have always had excellent service and the 375's are a considerable upgrade from the stock 295cc, especially if yours is tired. Her number is (706) 533-2698

*Note: It's best to send them a core deposit and have them ship your new engine instead of sending yours to them first, that way You have it in a couple of days instead of a week or so and it's easier the first time You swap motors to have both right there in front of you to make it easier to swap over some of the stuff You'll have to IE coil, shroud, etc - also, pop the $30 and just buy a new 350 carb off of Ebay right from the start - the 375's are designed to run efficiently with a standard 350 carb.

Thanks Brew. I can manage the cost of shipping out, but shipping into the US is exorbitantly expensive. I have previously contacted CT and asked if they can sell me the whole thing with a core, but unfortunately they cannot as they need one in exchange for the next customer.

This would actually be a great solution for me if they would sell me an engine without a core in exchange. I think CT have done more of these than the other custom engine shops.
