94 ezgo solenoid help
My question is the solenoid is a 12 volt, 4 terminal. Will any 12 volt 4 terminal work? Farm and Fleet has them for $12 and I can get one today, or spend like $35-40 for an ezgo one and wait a week.

Re: 94 ezgo solenoid help
You have to wait for the right solenoid. The golf cart solenoid stays energized all the while the cart is running. This is a continuous duty solenoid - most everything else out there is momentary duty - so they burn up when used in a golf cart

Re: 94 ezgo solenoid help
ok, new issue, I put on the new solenoid. Now the cart wont even turn over unless I unplug the orange wire coming off what i think is the igniter. But if I unplug it, there is no spark. If its plugged in and I jumper 12 volts to the small terminal where its plugged in, i got great spark and it runs. Is my problem now the igniter?
